“Time flies; I have paddled for over five years. Throwback to 2014, when I was fourteen and didn't do any sports because of my studies. Until I met my class teacher, who was the coach of the school dragon boat team. We were friends and chatted with each other all the time. One day, she invited me to attend her team training sessions. In the process of training, my teammates taught me patiently and treated me well. As time went by, we became friends and I became enthused in the sport of dragon boat. Even though I am not paddling with them now, I won’t forget them and always feel thankful for them. They helped and motivated me a lot.

My most memorable dragon story happened in 2019. In 2018, I joined a dragon boat team called Tai O Friendship. My teammates treated me as their family members, more than dragon boat. In 2019, I participated in a private boat competition for the first time. It was quite special! It broadened my horizons and I experienced a lot because it was different from the boats we used daily. In the end, we got a silver cup champion and were very satisfied with it!”
