“Been competing in sports since middle school and through college. I was looking for sports with the least impact on the knee, and I started dragon boat in 2011, when a friend invited me to come try it. I started paddling outrigger canoe in 2014.

My favorite racing place was in Taiwan in 2014 and 2017 on a traditional wood dragon boat with flag-catching. Also raced at World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand in 2019. I paddled all distances (200m, 500m, 1000m, and 2k).”
