“I first started dragon boat in 2017 when my teacher invited me for a dragon boat event with the school team. As I was a swimmer for 14 years, I also wanted to do some other sport that I was interested in, so I thought dragon boating was a good choice!

My favourite dragon boat memory is when I raced at IDBF 13th Junior and U24 IDBF World Dragon Boat Championships in France in 2017, on the Hungarian national Junior A team. It was the 2000 meter race start, at the first curve, when our streerer's oar was crushed at the middle of the bend! Luckily, we got a new one, we started again, and we got second place in the end.

To be honest, I have lots of good memories from Hungarian nationals and our trainings, so it was hard to choose!"
