“I had been swimming, cycling and running for years when a friend of mine invited me to try out dragon boating. It came at a good time as I had recently lost my mom and was looking for a team sport to get involved in.

My most memorable time would have to be making the 2019 IDBF US National Team after a year of training on and off the water. I met some of the most amazing people and made many lifelong friends!”
